Your Responsibilities as a Landscaping Team Member

o Being on time every day clean, in Grounds Guys attire (provided to you), with plenty of water (provided in an insulated, cold gallon jug per member in the truck--anything else you may need, you'll need to bring (snacks, more water, etc)), and ready to positively impact your team and community each day.

o Lawn care duties like mowing, trimming, edging, trimming bushes, planting flowers, mulching, weeding, removing debris, and removing small trees, bushes, stumps, etc.

o We also install paver patios, restore and build fences, decks, and pergolas, decorative stone walls, power wash houses and sidewalks/driveways, install and care for irrigation, grade/level out yards, leaf removal, holiday light installation, install drains, do rock work, install sod, and paint/stain outdoor living spaces. As you can see, we have quite a variety of work, which keeps your job exciting.

o You must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing very physical work, able to lift/carry 35-80 pounds often.

o You care for our equipment and prepare the truck, trailer, and equipment for the next day's work at the end of your shift.

How We Measure Success

· Attendance:
Might sound basic, but it’s critical to meet our customer service goals. You need to be here as required by your

supervisory team.

· Budget vs Actual

Hours:

Keeping jobs profitable is dependent on managing the time planned and spent at each job. We will keep track of this and will require you arrive on time and leave on time as well.

· Return Rates:
You’ll ensure quality control to make sure it’s rare to ever need to go back to redo a job. Our Done Right Promise means we walk with each client (when possible) around the project making sure they're 100% satisfied when we're done. We also take pictures so they have before and afters in their online file and to protect our business and you in the future.

· Customer Retention:
Building great relationships with each customer, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service, will keep them coming back. Positive, kind, and warmth toward our clients is key. You are the face of Grounds Guys. We're trusting you make our clients know they've hired the best.

· Full Utilization of Software & Processes:
We have a simple app to log in and out of jobs each day. This will track your progress, time, and will be where you can upload pictures for the clients.

Job Requirements for Landscaping Team Member

· Minimum 2 year's experience in landscaping, lawn service, building or similar service industries.

· Valid Driver's license and a dependable car that can meet on site.

· Coachable--we provide during and post-season (winter) training both online and on site. You will have every opportunity to grow within our company as much as…
