In this role, you’ll do more than oversee daily activities—you’ll help create a structured, supportive environment where clients can focus on personal growth, develop essential life skills, and take positive steps toward their goals. Your consistency, professionalism, and ability to build trust can make a real difference every day.
Whether you’re beginning your career in human services or bringing experience from a related field, we’ll provide training and support to help you succeed.

- Follow medication and screening procedures. Distribute medications in accordance with established protocols and appropriately observe drug screenings.
- Uphold program safety standards. Conduct searches of client belongings when necessary and in accordance with established policies.
- Keep accurate records. Document daily observations, behavioral changes, and incidents clearly and accurately using designated software.
- Respond confidently to challenging situations. Use de-escalation techniques and crisis-management strategies to help maintain safety during emergencies.
- Welcome new clients. Greet clients and assist with non-clinical intake procedures to help them transition into the program.
- Monitor client progress and behavior. Recognize and report behavioral changes while helping clients navigate the program safely and appropriately.
- Provide transportation when needed. Assist with transportation to appointments and program-related activities, as assigned.
- Be a dependable teammate. Collaborate with colleagues, adapt to changing needs, and take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and program.
You don’t need to have all the answers—you need the willingness to learn, the ability to stay grounded, and a genuine commitment to treating people with dignity and respect.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Strong communication skills:
The ability to listen actively, communicate clearly, and document information effectively. - Calm, practical problem-solving skills:
The ability to think clearly, respond appropriately, and remain composed in challenging situations. - Basic computer skills:
Comfort using computers and learning software for documentation and record-keeping. - Compassion and professionalism: A respectful, empathetic approach balanced with accountability and appropriate boundaries.
- Reliability and integrity: A commitment to following procedures, maintaining confidentiality, and being someone clients and coworkers can count on.
- A team-oriented mindset:
Flexibility, sound judgment, and a willingness to step in where help is needed.
Experience in human services, residential care, or a related field is a plus—but a compassionate attitude, strong character, and dependable work ethic are essential.
