Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Travel for installation and service, domestically and internationally, to support customers.
- Provide service and support for local customers.
- Plan assembly procedures following blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Assemble equipment using bolts, welds, or other fastening devices to foundations or structures.
- Install moving parts such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and test their movement.
- Bend and install hydraulic system pipes.
- Align and mesh gears in gearboxes using measurement tools to ensure proper assembly tolerances.
- Perform welding and fabrication of pipes, structural components, and tubes.
- Test completed products or assist in testing their operation.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role may occasionally involve supervising Assembly Tech I or II positions to complete specific tasks.
QualificationsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Trade school certificate, or two to four years of related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional InformationLanguage skills:
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals. Capable of writing reports and communicating effectively with groups.
Mathematical
Skills:
Proficiency in advanced algebra, trigonometry, and engineering principles. Ability to interpret instructions in various formats.
Physical Demands:
Frequent standing, walking, handling, and reaching; occasional talking or hearing. Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
