Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our facility. The successful candidate will be expected to care for adult and geriatric patients with a focus on various diagnoses, including CHF exacerbations, respiratory illnesses, and post-surgical care.
Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit.

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.

• Perform assessments and interventions based on clinical guidelines.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EPIC).

• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

• Will float to various Medical Surgical floors as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting.

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.

• Previous charge experience is preferred.

• Ability to care for COVID patients is necessary.

• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility; advance notification required for travelers.
