Qualifications:

• Active LPN or RN license required
• Previous experience in school nursing or with children strongly preferred
• Familiarity with diabetic care and protocols
• Ability to provide compassionate, attentive care in a school environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, individualized diabetic care for a student, including glucose monitoring and insulin administration as needed
• Monitor and document the students health status, responding promptly to any changes
• Work closely with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care coordination
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with school and healthcare policies
• Support the student's participation in school activities while safeguarding their health

Position Details:

• Contract position, available to start as soon as possible through January 4
• 9AM3PM schedule, aligned with the school day
• Elementary or similar age group placement
