Pay Rate: $17.00/hr

Bates Ford is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Automotive Service Driver to support our service department and help provide a smooth, convenient experience for our clients. This role is responsible for safely transporting customer vehicles and clients while assisting the service team with vehicle movements, test rides, and off-site service needs.

• Pick up and drop off client vehicles for scheduled service appointments.
• Conduct test rides in completed service vehicles on behalf of the main technicians to help confirm repair concerns and verify completed work.
• Drive customer vehicles to other original equipment manufacturer (OEM) dealerships or service facilities when additional service is required.
• Provide courtesy transportation for clients between their homes and the dealership.
• Safely transport clients to and from the dealership as needed.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and helpful presence when interacting with clients.
• Follow all dealership safety procedures and traffic laws while operating customer and dealership vehicles.
• Complete vehicle walkarounds and report any noticeable concerns before and after transportation.
• Communicate promptly with the service advisors and management regarding transportation schedules, vehicle status, and client needs.
• Help keep customer vehicles organized and ready for pickup or delivery.

• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of customer vehicles, including automatic and manual transmissions if required.
• Professional appearance and strong customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple transportation requests.
• Clear communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Prior dealership, automotive, delivery, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

• Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the workday.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment in customer vehicles.

As an Automotive Service Driver, you will play an important role in supporting the service department and ensuring clients receive reliable, convenient transportation throughout their vehicle service experience.
