Job SummaryProvides patient care through performance of a variety of therapeutic, diagnostic, and technical procedures including angiograms, echocardiograms, nuclear stress procedures, treadmill procedures, Holter monitoring, Transesophageal Echocardiograms, cardioversions, patient recovery, and patient teaching.
Key Responsibilities- Knowledge to obtain and interpret Echo images
- Transesophageal Echo and storage, cleaning and logs of probe
- EKG interpretation
- Placement of Holter monitors
- Assist with treadmills
- Assist with patient recovery, education and teaching
- Radiation Safety
- Maintain imaging and burn CDs
- Compliance (Novice):
Can explain and apply basic statutory instructions in normal situations on the job. Understands the principles upon which the rules and regulations are based. Appropriately escalates problems relating to rules and regulations in timely and effective manner. - Patient Documentation (Novice):
Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient documentation in practical applications of moderate difficulty. Generally works under the direction of others while accomplishing assignments. - Echocardiography Technology (Novice):
Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate echocardiography technology in practical applications of moderate difficulty. - Diagnostic Equipment (Novice):
Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate the use of diagnostic tools in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
