Pharmacy Services

Review medication orders issued by physicians or authorized prescribers to ensure accuracy, determine appropriate formulas and ingredients, and ensure correct labeling. Perform clinical functions as outlined by the Pharmacist in Charge, maintain the integrity of drug distribution, ensure safe utilization of high‑risk medications and controlled substances, maintain patient profiles, compound and supervise compounding of medications, review drug regimens for interactions, and assist in training pharmacy technicians and students.

Shift rotation:
Monday – Sunday. Hours Monday – Friday: 8:00 pm – 7:00 am. Weekend and holiday: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am.

• Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork, ensuring service excellence and commitment to the facility’s mission.
• Adhere to established standards, policies, and protocols.
• Maintain ongoing education to fulfill licensure requirements.
• Complete duties within defined time frames, self‑motivated and accountable.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and student pharmacists, providing constructive feedback.

• Certification:
  Licensed Pharmacist (Tennessee).
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 1 year in a pharmacy setting.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree required.
