Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 26 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end-products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets.

Inside Sales Representative
- Pay:

- Serve as a customer service representative: build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through effective communication and exceptional service; engage customers and sell our product through email, phone, and occasionally in person.
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop a deep understanding of Rugby's product offerings to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers.
- Efficiently and accurately process customer orders, ensuring timely delivery of products while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Take sales orders, prepare accurate price quotes and proposals for customers, and negotiate terms when necessary.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner, striving for prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and results, using CRM software as required.
- Previous inside sales representative experience, preferably in the building materials or construction industry; alternatively, customer service experience in similar industries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers; communication is factual, polite, and professional.
- Reserved, yet people focused; strong focus on repeatable, high-quality results; uses customer-focused mindset to solve problems.
- Knowledge of Rugby's product offerings or willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Prefer a steady, even pace of work, with predictability from one day to the next, yet goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
