Join Famous Footwear’s Distribution Center in Lebanon, TN as a 1st Shift Inventory Control Associate . This shift is scheduled for 6:30am – 3:00pm , Monday-Friday .

What We Do – Accountabilities

• Assures effective development, implementation and continuous improvement of processes to assure:
  • Cycle Counting process is done accurately and consistently.
  • Issues are handled in a timely manner.
• Assures inventory integrity is maintained through operational compliance.
• Assures Inventory Control procedures are followed, addressing issues with proper leadership.
• Assures effective utilization of systems and operational inventory processes.

Essential Functions

• Assures all cycle counting is completed with accuracy and in a timely manner.
• Maintains product storage disciplines and product rotation.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels through daily cycle counts.
• Responsible for the integrity, accuracy and control of on hand inventory.
• Navigate through a warehouse management system (RF) in order to successfully and efficiently execute daily inventory tasks.
• Perform audits on orders when necessary in efforts to improve accuracy of customer orders when issues arise
• Resoles inventory issues timely and accurately.
• Accomplish special projects and other assignments/duties as assigned by leadership.
• Address any inventory issues with leadership to maintain integrity throughout the distribution center.

Preferred Qualifications & Education

• High school diploma, equivalent or other related experience preferred
• 1-2 years in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred
• 1 year of Inventory Control in a distribution environment a plus
• Knowledge of PKMS preferred
