Queenswood School SEN Teacher
Queenswood School is looking to recruit an outstanding SEN Teacher to join our Teaching team. We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and committed teacher who will expand the learning experiences of our pupils. The successful candidate will be teaching and supporting our young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD and associated complex needs.
You will hold UK QTS, be experienced teaching the Primary Curriculum, and be comfortable teaching students that are in early KS3.

Queenswood School in Ledbury, Herefordshire, is an independent, specialist school providing education and care services to children and young people aged 11-19 years, with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties and a range of additional needs.
Main Responsibilities- Oversee the planning of curriculum content to improve standards of learning and achievement for all, ensuring it is well sequenced to promote pupil progress
- Ensure the planned curriculum is effectively and consistently implemented across the whole school
- Work with teachers and other subject leads to build links between the LIFE curriculum and the wider curriculum
- Ensure effective use of resource
- Hold UK QTS
- Have significant classroom experience
- Be able to teach core subjects
- Be willing to participate in ongoing professional development
- Have strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive culture
- Have a visionary mindset with an ability to innovate and implement change
- Support LIFE (literacy is for everything) within other subject areas (preferable)
