As a Production Operative in Ledbury, you will join a manufacturer of frozen goods, earning £13.00 per hour on a full-time, temporary ongoing contract. Your week will alternate between morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday, within a chilled setting maintained between 0°C and 4°C. Responsibilities involve selecting stock from assigned areas, replenishing supplies to sustain workflow, and packing items with precision.

This role suits individuals comfortable in cold conditions who can manage physical tasks. Prior experience in production or warehousing is beneficial but not essential, as full training is provided. You will contribute directly to the efficiency of a busy operation.

The Role:
  • Picking stock from designated locations and supplying production areas.
  • Replenishing stock to ensure continuous production.
  • Packing products efficiently and accurately on the production line.
  • Checking product weights meet required specifications.
  • Carrying out quality control checks to company standards.
  • Labelling products with the correct batch codes and information.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
  • Following food safety, quality and health & safety procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous production, manufacturing or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in chilled conditions (0°C to 4°C).
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
  • Flexible to work the weekly rotating shift pattern.
Hours of Work
  • Weekly Rotating Monday to Friday

    Shifts:
    • Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00 (37.5 hours)
    • Week 2: 14:00 - 22:30 (40 hours)
Pay Rate

£13.00 per hour
