Job Summary

Production Operatives are required in Ledbury for a full-time, temporary ongoing contract paying £13.00 per hour.

Working Monday to Friday on a weekly rotation of morning and afternoon shifts, you will join a manufacturer of frozen goods. Duties include picking stock from set locations, replenishing supplies to maintain output, and packing items with precision. The role operates in a chilled environment between 1°C and 3°C, so comfort in cold conditions is essential. Prior experience in warehouse or production work is beneficial, though full training is provided.

About the Contractor

Production Operative required in Ledbury, paying £13.00 per hour, Temporary Ongoing, Weekly Rotating morning and afternoon shifts (Monday to Friday). Pertemps are currently recruiting for Production Operatives on behalf of a well established and manufacturer of frozen products based in Ledbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production team on a temporary ongoing basis, with full-time hours and weekly rotating shifts.

Due to the nature of the products, you will be working in a chilled environment with temperatures typically between 1°C and 3°C.

Role Description
  • Picking stock from designated locations and supplying production areas.
  • Replenishing stock to ensure continuous production.
  • Packing products efficiently and accurately on the production line.
  • Checking product weights meet required specifications.
  • Carrying out quality control checks to company standards.
  • Labelling products with the correct batch codes and information.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
  • Following food safety, quality and health & safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
  • Previous production, manufacturing or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in chilled conditions (0°C to 4°C).
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
  • Flexible to work the weekly rotating shift pattern.
Hours of Work

Weekly Rotating Monday to Friday

Shifts:

Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00 (37.5 hours)
Week 2: 14:00 - 22:30 (40 hours)

Pay Rate

£13.00 per hour
