Welder / Pipefitter is required in Ledbury for our client, a well‑established engineering company. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and pipe fitting work as part of a range of engineering and fabrication projects, using MIG and TIG welding techniques to produce high‑quality work to the required specifications.
Welder / Pipefitter Job Overview- Carry out MIG and TIG welding on a range of engineering and fabrication projects
- Undertake pipe fitting and associated fabrication work
- Read and work from engineering drawings and specifications
- Prepare, fit and weld components and pipework to the required standards
- Ensure completed work meets the required quality and specification
- Work safely and maintain a clean and organised working environment
- Work as part of an engineering team to complete projects to the required timescales
Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a Welder / Pipefitter or in a similar engineering role
- Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
- Experience with pipe fitting and fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant welding / fabrication qualifications would be advantageous
Salary:
Competitive, dependent on experience £28,800-£43,200 Further details regarding working hours and benefits to be confirmed but likely 08:00-17:00 monday-thursday and 08:00-15:30 fridays.
