Join Stanley Housein Ledburyas a Maintenance Assistant where you will be part of creating a well- presented and safe environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the services facilities are fit for purpose, gardening and will regularly conduct audits to identify and repair any faults ensuring a safe environment for service users, staff and visitors.

Working alongside an established team, you will turn your hand to all maintenance-related tasks, liaising with contractors to support the upkeep of the service.

• Assisting with ensuring that the service, buildings, facilities and equipment requirements are maintained and fit for purpose.
• Utilising good DIY skills to ensure safety of service users is maintained.
• Assisting in regular checks and maintenance.
• Assisting in the repair and maintenance of all buildings.
• Assisting in all decorating.
• Liaising with a manager reporting all faults and defects.
• Participating in a 1 week retaining on-call rota for the purposes of emergency maintenance.
• Coordinating and supporting contractors whilst on site and completing of all paperwork and tool checks.

• To comply with system and procedures.
• Have previous experience within a maintenance role.
• To work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Show courtesy and respect to at all times to ensure that they enjoy the highest quality of service.
• Attend and participate in training sessions and staff meetings.

You will be working at Stanley House, a service which offers a multidisciplinary approach to its long term care provision and provides the specialised care and expert therapeutic interventions.

You will be working alongside the multidisciplinary team to support and enable to undergo reviews of their specific and/or changing needs. Stanley House offers therapies and activities which include Physiotherapy and Art therapy and receives input from a Professor in Neuropsychiatry and monthly specialist GP clinics.
