Emprise Corporation is hiring a Clerical Assistant to work out of our Ledyard, CT office.

Responsibilities
  • Package and prepare for shipping worldwide using UPS, Fed Ex and DHL.
  • Track shipments using Microsoft Excel.
  • Receive shipments to include verifying contents against packing list and purchase orders, inspecting damage, updating inventory systems.
  • Maintain, file and secure both physical and electronic documents which may include scanning documents, ensuring documents are stored properly/securely on network drive.
  • Assist Accounting Team with gathering and organization of documents including travel itineraries, receipts, etc.
  • Generate documents using Microsoft Word and Adobe.
  • Answer incoming calls, acting as the first point of contact by greeting callers, determining needs, transferring calls, taking messages, and providing basic information.
  • Other general office tasks as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of clerical/admin experience.
  • Requires discretion, demonstrated judgement and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Adobe Pro.
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
  • Excellent time‑management skills with ability to accurately prioritize tasks and meet goals/deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
