The Manufacturing Engineering CO-OP position offers a variety of opportunities including basic engineering tasks related to design, analysis, test, integration and systems engineering. Engineering CO-OPs will typically support one or more experienced engineers in the performance of assignments, spend time shadowing actual operations, and have unique assignments that support larger projects as well as the day-to-day operations of the engineering department.

Interns may perform and/or participate in additional activities/events which will help them build a strong network within the Hubbell community.

• Troubleshoot processes and equipment in the manufacturing and design stage.
• Enhance academic knowledge in EE or ME field with hands-on working experience.
• Analyze testing procedures to ensure quality products.
• Work with an experienced Engineer in developing process improvements.
• Assist manufacturing in development of business improvement initiatives.
• Exposed to ISO quality systems.
• Work in the continuous improvement area and productivity projects.
• Assist experienced engineer with new product release.

• Enrollment in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree related to field (required)
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
• Engineering Major
• Previous CO-OP experience would be preferred
