Caregiver – Happier at Home – Birmingham, AL

Join Happier at Home as a Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. We are looking for compassionate, experienced caregivers to provide non‑medical in‑home support for seniors in the Birmingham area, focusing on the Hwy 280 region.

Base pay: $14.00/hr – $15.00/hr actual pay is based on your skills and experience.

• Meal prep, shopping, and errands.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Providing companionship and socialization.
• Transportation to appointments (using your vehicle; mileage reimbursed).
• Supporting exercise and mental stimulation.
• Respite care for family caregivers.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to drive to all shifts.
• CNA license is a plus, but not required.
• Must pass drug screening, background checks, and motor‑vehicle checks.
• Must be able to work a consistent schedule and communicate any scheduling issues in advance.
• Must be willing to travel to Highway 280 for cases.
