Bruno Hospitality is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of a full-time Catering Coordinator. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.
Primary ResponsibilitiesContacts customers face-to-face, by telephone and/or email, to confirm, coordinate, and update details for scheduled catering activities
Details each group’s catering needs which may include but is not limited to menu planning, mealtime, and room set up
Tracks all guarantees and deadlines based on contract
Coordinates with the Executive Chef and Catering Manager to ensure specified arrangements are carried out as planned
Completes projects as directed in relation to the area of responsibility
Assists in the coordination of department members that may include, but is not limited to:
Food Runners, Servers, Set Up Staff
Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction
Assists management in communicating any changes or new policies and procedures to the department
Any other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications- 5 years in Food & Beverage
- 2 years in Catering
- Computer skills a must and have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel
- Knowledge of Square POS
- Some nights and weekends required
Passion for hospitality, food, and client service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Must be a problem solver, ready to come up with on-the-spot solutions for problems that may occur in the FOH, be self-motivated, and organized
Ability to work in standing position for long periods of time
Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
