Job Overview

Production Planner – Leeds, AL at Hubbell Gas Utility Solutions (HGUS). Drive production excellence by coordinating manufacturing schedules, collaborating across departments, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure materials and resources are available.
• Analyze and adjust production schedules as needed to respond to changes in raw material and equipment.
• Work with purchasing to expedite materials as needed.
• Prioritize shop floor dispatches/work centers to meet manufacturing dates.
• Communicate delays that may affect production to shop floor supervision.
• Manage parts orders for product lines to ensure on‑time shipments.
• Interact with customer service for the product line.
• Provide production updates to Lead Master Scheduler.
• Collaborate in a team setting and provide input and feedback.
• Perform any other duties assigned.

• 3+ years of production planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills and data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• 3+ years of SAP experience in manufacturing planning and scheduling.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and productivity tools.
• Ability to collaborate across a cross‑functional team.
