Security Flex Officer – Security Patrol Specialist

This vital full‑time role offers $17.50 per hour

This is an on‑call position requiring you to be available for 40 hours per week, with a minimum of 24 scheduled hours.

As an unarmed Security Patrol Specialist, you conduct fixed and roving patrols across client properties, serving as a first‑line ambassador. Duties include observing, deterring, and reporting incidents while accurately documenting site activities. You enforce client procedures and maintain exceptional customer service, and are prepared to respond quickly and calmly to critical situations.

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or GED
• 18+ years old or minimum age required by the state
• Customer service experience
• 2+ years of security experience and/or military/LEO
• Authorization to legally work in the United States Great communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge to operate the radio, telephone, and console monitors
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Access to reliable transportation allowing short‑notice response throughout the Atlanta Metro area
• Available for any shift, 24 hours per day, seven days per week, including weekends and holidays
• Complete crisis prevention training and site‑specific training before serving as a qualified security officer
• Pass any state‑required training or other qualifications for licensing
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs
• Reach over head with 10–25 lb loads
• Walk up and down stairs with loads up to 50 lbs
• Walk and stand for extended periods; use ladders
• Stand for long periods (>8 hours)
• Work outside in a variety of weather conditions
• Work at a desk and use a keyboard

An associate’s degree is preferred but not required!
