Senior Accountant

I am delighted to be partnering with a leading UK-based business to find a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team in Leeds. This is a permanent role where you'll be key in ensuring accurate revenue and gross profit accounting, alongside overseeing intercompany accounting processes. If you're a fully qualified accountant with a proactive mindset and a collaborative approach, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate monthly accounting of revenue and cost of sales across UK Processing business units
• Review gross margin performance and variances to budget/KPIs
• Collaborate with the FP&A team to align accounting and reporting with weekly operational insight reports
• Oversee the intercompany accounting process, working closely with finance teams to ensure correct transactions and agreement of balances between entities

Required Skills and Experience:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to handle complex data
• Experience with SAGE accounting system (preferred but not essential)
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach to resolving queries
• Strong team player with an ability to collaborate across different areas of the business
• Preferable experience working in industry rather than solely within audit
