FTC for 6 months.
DescriptionThe position is responsible for the application of firm receipts with regards to client billing and miscellaneous firm funds. It is also responsible for client account maintenance including but not limited to research via 3E inquiry, analysis and reapplication of funds per the request of the client.

Reed Smith Global Solutions in Leeds will bring together lawyers and business services professionals to deliver client solutions. The legal offering will include a newly launched Records & e‑Discovery practice, as well as associates and paralegals in key practice and industry groups.
The business services teams will include client value, practice innovation, marketing, HR, IT, and finance roles. We are always looking at ways to continually improve the quality of our client services. Reed Smith Global Solutions is part of our answer. In Leeds, we plan to use the open plan layout and an intra‑department structure to allow individuals with different skillsets and experiences to work alongside each other to find new approaches to problem solving.
It will ensure we can improve our services and increase efficiencies as well as redesign our processes.
- Daily posting of cash receipts on client account and office account across EMEA
- Draw down electronic payments from the banking platforms
- Posting of cash on client account and office account in accordance with SAR
- Perform small balance write offs as needed
- Research unidentified cash receipts and the processing of them in accordance with SAR
- Perform daily bank recs on all accounts across EMEA
- Perform Month end recs in accordance with SAR
- Reporting on AR to Client account balances
- Reporting of office credits and dealing with any client related monies in accordance with SAR
- Manage all client account residual balances to ensure full compliance with SAR
- Any other banking duties as assigned
Educated to GSCE standard.
Experience on SAR is desired but not essential as full training will be given (on Job). Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
