Overview
I am excited to be partnering with a fast growing UK buisiness based in Leeds. They are actively seeking an Assistant Group Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone to really grow and develop.
RoleSupport the Group Accountant in preparing and maintaining financial information, while gaining core accounting experience in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare VAT returns
- Produce management accounts for group entities
- Process invoices and intercompany transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage payments
- Support cashflow reporting and debt tracking
- Reconcile supplier and intercompany balances
- Provide general finance support
- Entry-level or AAT trainee
- Strong willingness to learn
- Team-oriented and proactive
- Basic accounting knowledge (preferred)
