Overview

This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. It offers the opportunity for the successful candidate to become a key member of the multi‑divisional Workforce Learning team, supporting billing, reporting, and ad‑hoc month‑end activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain billing processes across multiple divisions, including resolving queries related to invoicing.
  • Track, process, and report monthly payables, liaising with stakeholders to obtain necessary information (e.g., bank details) and ensuring payments are made promptly and in line with DfE requirements.
  • Support process improvements and efficiencies, contributing to the development of more effective ways of working within your role and the wider team.
  • Completion of Customer billing – Apprenticeships Division.
  • Completion of Customer billing – USA Division.
  • Support with USA Sales tax compliance.
  • Track and process Apprenticeships Additional Payments.
  • Support the Apprenticeships R14 process to ensure billing and payment is accurately tracked and maintained.
  • Support the Sales Commission calculation process.
  • Other accounting support to the wider Group / Management accounts teams.
Qualifications
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to self‑develop.
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience working within a Private Equity organisation.
  • Exposure and understanding of DfE legislation.
