Audit & Accounts Manager

A leading, independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers based in Bradford is looking for an Audit & Accounts Manager to join the team.

• Proactively lead and manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors.
• Plan, execute, and complete audit and accounts assignments in line with regulatory standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Review work and ensure high-quality deliverables, reporting to directors.
• Attend client and prospect client meetings and build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Work alongside the leadership team and liaising with internal departments.
• Contribute to business development and the growth of the firm.
• Assist the directors with ad hoc advisory services and special work.
• Manage work in progress and billing including agreement of fees on your portfolio of engagements.

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in audit and accounts.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• A proactive and client-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
