Controllerforthebusiness–supportingwithallareasoftransactionalfinanceforthegroup(AP,salesledgerandcreditcontrol,payrollandexpenses,reconciliations,monthendreportingetc)

It’safastpacedsmallgrowingcompany(15permanentemployeescurrently) andyou’llplayavitalrole. Asthebusinesscontinuestoexpandandyourknowledgeandunderstandingdevelopsyouwillhavechancetobroadenyourskillset.

It’sareallywelcomingandcollaborativeteam,you’llbeworkingforanapproachableandhighlyexperiencedFCandaninfectiouslyenthusiasticanddrivenMD/owner.

You’llenjoyplentyofautonomyandasensibleworklifebalance. Theroleisbusyandthereisplentytodobutthereisnoexpectationofovertime/outofhoursworking. Infacttherolecouldfitaroundschooldropoffs/pickups/othercommitmentsifsomeonewaslookingforreducedhours.

Youwillideallyhavepreviousexperienceofpurchaseledger/sales ledger/generalmonthendaccountingtasks(fromeitheranaccountingfirmoranothersmallprofessionalbusiness).

Youwillbeaconscientiousandmethodical Assistant Accountant /Finance Assistant/Bookkeeper. Someonewhotakesprideintheiraccuracyandnaturalattentiontodetail.

You’llhavesolidITskillsandideallypreviousexperienceof

Sage software.

It’saroleforsomeonewhowillenjoymakingadifferencetoanaspirationalgrowingbusinessinavariedtransactionalaccountingposition.

Required:

• Previousexperienceofcoretransactionalaccounting(ledgerduties,reconciliationsetc)
• Apositiveattitudetosolvingnewproblemsandpickingupnewtasks.
• Goodunderstandingof Excel/generalITskills.
• Abilitytoworkwithautonomyandnaturallywellorganised.
• Professionalism,commonsenseandideallyagreatsenseofhumour!
