The Role As an Accounts Senior, you'll manage your own portfolio of clients while providing a high standard of accounting and tax services. Working closely with managers and partners, you'll play a key role in supporting clients and helping junior team members develop.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns. Managing your own portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients. Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing practical advice and responding to day-to-day queries. Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service. Liaising with HMRC and other third parties where required.

Supporting and mentoring junior team members when appropriate. Working collaboratively across the practice to deliver an excellent client experience. Identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value to clients. About You We're looking for someone who has:
Previous experience working within an accountancy practice. Experience preparing accounts for SMEs, sole traders and partnerships. Experience preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns. The ability to manage a portfolio of clients independently. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail. A proactive, positive and team-focused approach.
