Accounts Assistant | Bolton | £32,000 - £36,000  Study Support | Hybrid (4 days office / 1 day home) Private Equity backed group based in Bolton are looking for an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is the perfect role for someone who is looking to accelerate their finance career. Following recent private equity investment, the business is at the beginning of an exciting growth journey.

They deliver specialist projects across a variety of public and private sector environments. The Opportunity You'll join an experienced finance team led by an approachable Finance Director who has an excellent track record of mentoring and developing junior talent.

Initially, you'll gain exposure across a broad range of transactional finance responsibilities while gradually taking on more month-end and management accounting duties as your experience develops. They are also at the beginning of implementing a major new ERP system into the business, so you will also be key in assisting with the process. Your remit will include:
Purchase ledger / Sales ledger Bank reconciliations VAT returns Supporting month-end processes Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations Fixed asset accounting Getting involved in management accounts preparation as your responsibilities grow Supporting cash flow reporting Assisting with the implementation of a new ERP system You will need:
