Up to £38,000 DOE Are you an experienced accounting professional looking for a varied role where you can make a real impact? We're recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join a friendly and growing team in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from either a practice or industry background who enjoys working closely with clients, analysing financial data, and playing a key role in delivering a high level of service.

As a Senior Accountant, you'll become the main point of contact for a high-priority client while also supporting a wider portfolio of businesses. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and working across a broad range of accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities Acting as a primary contact for a key client, providing ongoing financial support and guidance. Supporting multiple clients with their accounting and finance requirements. Preparing management accounts and financial reports. Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Analysing financial performance and identifying trends and opportunities. Producing accurate and insightful reports using Excel and other systems. Building strong client relationships and providing an excellent level of service.

Working collaboratively within a small team to support business objectives. About You Previous experience in an accounting role, either within practice or industry. Strong Excel skills, including the ability to analyse and manipulate financial data.

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients. Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities. A team player who enjoys working in a close-knit environment. Part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience candidates will all be considered. What's On Offer? Salary up to £38,000 , depending on experience.
