leading international professional services firm is seeking to appoint a VAT
Compliance Manager to join its growing indirect tax team. With a strong
presence across the UK and overseas markets, the firm supports a broad range of
clients and is recognised for delivering high-quality tax, audit and advisory

Your new role

You will take
responsibility for managing a portfolio of UK, European and international VAT
compliance engagements, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of indirect
tax filings. Acting as a key point of contact for clients, you will build
strong relationships while gaining a detailed understanding of their business
operations and VAT obligations.

Alongside overseeing
compliance processes, you will review VAT returns, provide technical guidance,
identify opportunities for process improvements, and support the development of
junior team members.

This role offers significant exposure to international VAT
matters and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of a
successful compliance function.

What you'll need to succeed

Strong VAT
compliance experience gained within practice or industry.

Good understanding
of UK and international indirect tax reporting requirements.

Experience managing
client relationships and delivering high-quality compliance services.

Enthusiasm for
improving processes through technology and automation.

Strong analytical
and organisational skills with experience using Excel and other reporting
tools.

Previous experience
reviewing work and mentoring junior team members.

Excellent
communication and stakeholder management skills.
