Tax Senior Chelmsford | Competitive Salary | ATT Qualified | Accountancy Practice An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Senior to join a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Chelmsford. This role is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys managing client relationships, delivering exceptional service and working across a varied portfolio of clients within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The Role As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance deadlines are met and delivering a high standard of service.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a portfolio of tax clients and acting as a key point of contact. Preparing tax returns in accordance with firm procedures. Ensuring work is completed accurately, on time and within budget. Building and maintaining strong client relationships. Supporting and mentoring junior team members. Ensuring all legal and statutory compliance requirements are met. Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Identifying opportunities to add value and support client growth. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: ATT qualification. At least 3-5 years' tax experience within an accountancy practice. Experience managing a portfolio of clients. Strong personal and/or corporate tax knowledge. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service.

Experience using tax software and Microsoft Office applications. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
