Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm On behalf of our client, a growing and reputable accountancy practice, we are currently recruiting for a highly organised and detail-oriented Semi Senior Accountant to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong experience in preparing final accounts and using a range of accounting software, who is looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role:

As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and tax services to a varied client portfolio, while also supporting junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of accounts for sole traders and limited companies
• Reconciliation of profit and loss accounts and balance sheets
• Completion of corporation tax returns
• Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
• Handling quarterly Making Tax Digital (MTD) income tax submissions
• Supporting and training junior staff
• Working with accounting software including Sage, Xero, Quick Books, and IRIS

The Ideal Candidate :
• 2–3 years' experience within an accountancy practice
• AAT qualified
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident using a variety of accounting software
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines What's on
