Senior Financial Accounting

Your new company A global business with operations across multiple international markets is seeking to appoint a Senior Financial Accountant into its established finance team. Your new role You will be responsible for the financial accounting and reporting activities across a portfolio of international entities, taking ownership of month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and statutory accounting requirements. The role will involve coordinating both internal and external audits, working closely with finance, tax and operational stakeholders, and supporting continuous improvements to financial controls and processes. You will also contribute to regional and global finance projects, offering broad exposure within a large and evolving international business.

What you'll need to succeed You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting knowledge gained within a large corporate environment or shared service centre setting. The role is ideally suited to candidates who enjoy working within complex and international organisations. Previous experience supporting multiple entities and operating within a shared service centre environment would be highly advantageous.

Strong communication skills, a proactive approach and a desire to drive process improvements and add value are essential.

Experience of SAP or a similar ERP system would be beneficial, whilst German or Polish language skills would be considered a distinct advantage.
