The Professional Squash Association (PSA) is the governing body responsible for overseeing and administering men's and women's professional squash worldwide. The PSA Group is composed of three distinct entities:
Squash Media and Marketing Limited:
Specialising in the promotion and broadcasting of squash, this entity ensures that the sport reaches a global audience through innovative media strategies and marketing campaigns.
PSA Foundation:
The charitable arm dedicated to promoting the growth of squash, supporting player welfare, and making the sport more accessible to all.
The PSA:
The core organisation responsible for the governance, administration, and strategic development of professional squash.

Job PurposeWe are recruiting a Tour Assistant to add to our dedicated team based in The Calls areas of Leeds City Centre. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking into their first step into professional sport. The role will provide you with the opportunity to learn whilst working on the behind the scenes of professional squash.
Key Responsibilities- Providing information to players regarding events, accommodation and visa letters etc.
- Communicating information to promoters regarding events, event deadlines and chasing tournament information etc.
- Liaising with the PSA’s official squash ball partner to co-ordinate the timely delivery of squash balls to events.
- Event administration, including processing new events, payments, event registration and prize money payments in our bespoke CRM database.
- Leading on the registration and administration of Satellite and Federation events.
- The processing and approval of memberships including new member payments, renewals and general database administration.
- Maintaining and developing office systems including filing, printing, photocopying.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling enquiries professionally.
- Answer and direct telephone calls, draft and compose e-mails, memos and letters.
The Tour Assistant is an entry level role and would be your first step into the world of professional sport, whether you have recently completed a degree or equivalent qualification, or you are embarking on a career change. The following criteria would make you the ideal candidate for this role:
- Experience in an administrative role
- A passion for sport and ideally squash
- Well organised, efficient, with the ability to use initiative
- Good working knowledge of basic computer packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Can-do attitude and self-motivated individual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and good organising skills
Please note that to support worldwide squash tournaments, some weekend cover may be necessary from time to time. You would receive compensatory time off in lieu for weekend work.
