We are looking for friendly, organised and approachable individuals to join our team of Bank Receptionists. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will play a key role in creating a positive and professional experience for everyone who comes through our doors.
This flexible, zero‑hours position is ideal if you are looking for meaningful work that can fit around your other commitments.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome visitors, members, and guests with a warm and professional approach
- Manage incoming phone calls, directing enquiries and taking messages accurately
- Maintain a tidy, safe, and welcoming reception area
- Coordinate room bookings, appointments, and staff schedules
- Provide clear information about LJWB services and activities
- Support day‑to‑day administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Respond to enquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively
- Has experience in a reception, customer service, or administrative role (ideally within a community or care setting)
- Has excellent organisational skills and can manage multiple tasks confidently
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Is empathetic, patient, and passionate about supporting people from diverse backgrounds, including vulnerable individuals
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
