Job Description
Leeds Beckett University is looking for a well-organised and enthusiastic Sport Health Tech Incubator Administrator to support the day-to-day running of the new Carnegie Innovation, Sport Health Tech Incubator.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile initiative supporting innovative start-ups and businesses in sport, health, and technology. Working as part of a small team, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support to help ensure the smooth delivery of incubator activities and a positive experience for clients.
This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in administration, events, communications and project support within a dynamic university environment.
What You’ll Be Doing Administrative Support- Provide general administrative support to the Incubator team
- Act as a first point of contact for enquiries, responding or directing queries appropriately
- Support the onboarding of new incubator participants (e.g. preparing documents and materials)
- Maintain accurate records of clients, contacts, and activities
- Assist with organising meetings, including room bookings and scheduling
- Support the delivery of events such as workshops and networking sessions
- Help with event logistics, including preparing materials and coordinating attendees
- Support with Social Media accounts
- Assist with collecting and recording information to support project monitoring
- Help maintain simple records such as action logs and contact lists
- Provide basic support for report preparation as required
- Assist with routine financial processes such as raising purchase orders and processing invoices
- Support basic data entry and use of university systems
- Work closely with the Incubator Lead and wider team to support daily activities
- Liaise with internal teams and external contacts when required
- Carry out other duties appropriate to the role
- Has good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Is a clear and professional communicator
- Has experience in an administrative or office-based role (or relevant transferable skills)
- Is comfortable using IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- Can work as part of a team and follow guidance
- Has an interest in supporting events, social media communications or business activities (desirable)
