CTU XT1151 CTP NE Facilities Officer External
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Facilities Officer to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terror Policing.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the CTP NE Estate, including facilities and contracts to support the provision of an efficient and robust facilities management service.
- Act as the first point of contact for all estate repairs and work requests.
- Coordinate booking of contractors on site and DHP diary.
- Work closely with the CTP NE Projects team on all regional estates projects and with Estate Facilities Officers to ensure efficient handling of maintenance issues.
- Prioritise own workload and supervise as needed.
Qualifications:
- Organisational skills, including time management and resource planning.
- Ability to work reactively, proactively and self‑manage unplanned events.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to produce reports.
- Experience working with suppliers and contractors and building relationships.
- Good working knowledge of and ability to operate a range of computer databases.
- Experience working in an office environment with strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Prepared to work flexibly, including willingness to travel within CTP Estate and West Yorkshire Police Force area; access to personal vehicle required.
Additional requirements:
- Must be a British Citizen and eligible to hold a British Passport to work in CTP NE.
