Are you experienced in handling Freedom of Information (FOI), Environmental Information Regulations (EIR), and Data Protection Act (DPA) requests? Our client, a respected organisation based in Leeds, is hiring for a dedicated FOI Advisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to transparent and efficient information management within a professional environment.
What you’ll be doing :- Assist with ongoing workload including FOI/EIR/DPA requests, internal reviews, and complaints.
- Log, triage, and manage correspondence and requests efficiently.
- Identify, extract, collate, redact, and prepare information for disclosure, including large and complex datasets.
- Ensure accurate, high‑quality responses are issued within statutory deadlines.
- Follow established administrative procedures and processes.
- Manage your caseload effectively, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
- Share insights and lessons learned to improve team practices.
- Experience applying FOI/EIR or DPA legislation.
- FOI Practitioner certification is desirable.
- Strong administrative background with proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Sound decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
- Good time‑management skills and the ability to work independently.
