Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organised Legal Secretary to join their Private Client Department.

The successful candidate will be proactive, detail‑focused, and confident working within a busy private client environment, supporting fee earners while maintaining strong client relationships and upholding professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide typing and admin support for Private Client work (Wills, Trusts, Probate, LPAs)
Prepare correspondence and manage documents using MS Office and internal systems
Assist with legal forms, billing, reports, and diary management
Handle client queries, manage correspondence, and flag urgent issues
Support file organisation and maintain professional client relationships
Carry out general admin tasks and assist other teams as needed Requirements

Legal Secretary experience (Private Client preferred)
Strong IT, typing, and organisation skills
Able to work independently, accurately, and under pressure
Excellent communication with a professional, confidential approach
