Cultural Collections is the home of hundreds of thousands of rare books, manuscripts, archives, artworks and objects. Our collections offer a rich resource for staff, students and the wider research community.
The Brotherton Research Centre & Galleries offer facilities for engagement, teaching, learning, research and events using our unique and distinctive collections.
As a Collections Access Coordinator you will provide a high quality customer service across the Research Centre & Galleries, liaising with researchers, academics, visitors and Cultural Collections colleagues regarding Research Centre & Galleries activities. You will invigilate the Research Centre & Galleries- ensuring the security and preservation of the collections in our care and assist with the day-to-day supervision of Collections Access Assistants.
You will allocate team tasks and act as an initial reference point for day-to-day frontline queries, working closely with curatorial colleagues on collection documentation and housekeeping and to improve efficiency in collections accessibility.
- 26 days holiday plus approx. 16 Bank Holidays/days that the University is closed by custom (including Christmas) – That’s 42 days a year!
