Trainee Administrator

Pennine Recruitment (acting as an employment agency) are delighted to be recruiting for a Trainee Admin Clerk to work with our client based in Leeds on a full time, permanent basis.

Our client is one of the UKs leading names in the logistics marketplace and as such, the company has fantastic pathways of career progression for suitable candidates. In this role you will be tasked with providing administration support to different departments and to liaise with customers regarding any enquiries.

Whilst this is a trainee role we are looking for someone who has previous experience in the Logistics/Warehousing sector. Ideally you would be looking to take the next step in your career with some solid experience in these sectors already behind you.

Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

* Data input into the business systems

* Work closely with the team and supervisor to manage your workload priorities

* Provide efficient administration within the Freight team

* Learn how to prepare shipment files for the Imports team

* Learn how to prepare and distribute commercial documentation

You should have:

* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing)

* Proficient using Microsoft packages

* Ability to use your own initiative and organize your own workload

* A flexible mindset

* Previous administration and/or Logistics/Warehousing experience

Working Hours:

* Monday to Friday
