I am currently recruiting for a Property Administrator to join a busy and professional property team based in Leeds city centre. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented administrator looking to develop their career within the commercial property sector. Working closely with an experienced team of Property Managers and Surveyors, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day management of a varied commercial property portfolio across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Processing and managing supplier invoices received via email and post
Coding invoices and preparing documentation for approval
Uploading invoices to the property management system for payment
Assisting with service charge reconciliations
Supporting tenant credit control activities
Downloading and processing utility invoices from online portals
Administering insurance renewals and arranging tenant recharges
Coordinating business rates processes for vacant properties
Liaising with utility providers regarding tenant move-ins and move-outs
Uploading and monitoring utility meter readings
Arranging utility recharges and processing landlord liabilities where applicable
Supporting the negotiation and administration of utility contracts
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is updated across internal systems
Providing general administrative support to the wider property management team

What We're Looking For

Previous administration experience within a busy office environment
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Experience in property, finance, utilities, service charge administration or accounts administration would be advantageous, but not essential
A proactive and professional approach to work
