Provide a comprehensive clerical, analytical and intelligence support service within the Public Protection Unit. You will be integral to the department and supported every step by your new supervision. You will support officers managing high‑risk and complex offenders including Registered Sex Offenders and MAPPA cases. Maintain accurate records and ensure information is handled in line with legislation and force policy. Prepare documentation and support multi‑agency meetings including MAPPA panels.

• Record, research and maintain intelligence on systems such as ViSOR, Niche, Corvus, Storm and CARM.
• Prepare files and documentation for operational and multi‑agency use.
• Support information sharing with partner agencies including Probation and other statutory bodies.
• Respond professionally to internal and external enquiries.
• Assist with coordination of meetings and preparation of briefing materials.

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience of working in an office or administrative environment.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Effective workload management and prioritisation skills.
• IT literacy including Microsoft Office, with willingness to learn police systems.

• Ability to work with highly sensitive and distressing material in a professional manner.
• Resilience when dealing with issues such as serious sexual offences and vulnerable victims.
• Flexibility to travel across the force area where required.
• Willingness to support wider Public Protection functions for business continuity.
