About the Role
Panda Recycling is a customer-centric, forward-thinking waste and recycling solutions provider with depots across the Wirral, Manchester, Preston, Leeds and Birmingham. As an award‑winning business, we continue to grow through innovation, service excellence and strong commercial partnerships. We are seeking a Customer Service Agent to join a dynamic team at our Cross Green site in Leeds. The role will involve fielding a range of customer queries from across the country;
previous experience in a similar, customer‑facing role would be preferred.
- Responsible for taking a high volume of inbound calls from both commercial and domestic customers, up to 300 calls across the team per day.
- Professional telephone manner, clear, concise and engaging; build strong rapport with customers.
- Provide written and verbal quotations for potential orders.
- Process online orders, including those received by email.
- Accuracy is paramount and a detailed approach is essential.
- Initial point of contact for complaints / dissatisfaction.
- Make outbound calls to customers with adjustments or rescheduled work.
- Work closely with Traffic Planners & Operations Team to ensure service delivery.
- Work as a team, prioritise work flow.
- Adapt to a faced‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
- A confident and professional telephone manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and hardworking.
- Ability to work on one’s own initiative.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Own transport is preferred due to the location.
