The Role

We’re looking for a Bid Coordinator to join our growing commercial team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, compelling bid submissions for customers across the UK and Ireland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys writing, collaborating with different teams, and working in a fast-paced environment where every deadline counts.

What you will do

As Bid Coordinator, you will support the Bid Manager in the full bid lifecycle—from identifying opportunities right through to submitting polished, professional proposals. You’ll work closely with our Commercial and Operational teams, gathering information, drafting content, managing documentation, and ensuring our bids truly reflect our capabilities.

You’ll also help us maintain our Bid Content Library and support key contract and supply chain processes across the business.

This role is perfect for someone with strong writing skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping secure new business.

  • Identifying potential tender opportunities via customer portals and websites
  • Keeping track of upcoming contracts and market activity
  • Coordinating tender documentation and developing bid plans
  • Working with internal teams to collect inputs and technical information
  • Drafting and refining specific tender responses
  • Supporting the timely submission of high‑quality bids
  • Managing clarifications with awarding authorities when required
  • Maintaining and improving our Bid Content Library
  • Assisting with contract administration, signatures, and documentation
  • Supporting supplier assessments and questionnaire completion
What you'll bring:
  • Strong written English, organisation, and attention to detail
  • Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office tools
  • Great communicator—comfortable using phone, email, and messaging tools
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet bid deadlines
  • Strong comprehension and ability to present complex information clearly
  • Experience in a customer‑facing or bids/proposals role
  • Understanding of public sector procurement
  • Experience with Teams, SharePoint, or other collaboration platforms
  • Knowledge of the transport sector (or similar industry)
