Our client, a leading B2B data, intelligence, and events company
, providing business development-led market research across the US and European renewable energy, power, and data centre industries
, is seeking a commercially focused Business Development Manager – Subscription to drive growth in the European Data Centre market.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B subscription-based sales
, particularly within data centres, digital infrastructure, or related technology sectors
.
You will be responsible for winning new subscription clients, managing existing accounts, and driving recurring revenue by leveraging the company’s data, insights, and platform solutions.
Job Responsibilities:- Develop new subscription-based business opportunities through a proactive go-to-market strategy
- Identify clients where the company can add the greatest value through subscription solutions
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle for subscription accounts, from prospecting to closing deals
- Present complex data centre and digital infrastructure solutions clearly and compellingly
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to ensure subscription adoption and retention
- Stay informed on European data centre industry trends and competitor activity
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth subscription onboarding and client experience
- Act as a client and product champion, gathering feedback to improve offerings
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in B2B subscription-based sales or account management, ideally in data centres, digital infrastructure, or related sectors
- Proven track record of new business development and revenue growth
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving capability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-driven and able to manage workload effectively under pressure
- Forward-thinking, proactive, and solution-focused
- Comfortable delivering presentations and client demos
- Team player with a personable and professional approach
