Manager; Procurement & Supply Chain

We’re hiring a Manager in Procurement & Supply Chain at Akeso.

You’ll be working on complex healthcare transformation projects across the UK & Ireland, with real ownership and client exposure.

This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role where you’ll lead strategic sourcing and transformation work that directly impacts cost, efficiency, and ultimately patient outcomes.

• Leading end-to-end strategic sourcing and procurement programmes
• Developing category strategies and business cases for large‑scale transformation
• Delivering cost optimisation using key sourcing levers (price, demand, process, risk)
• Supporting supply chain optimisation, including network design and service transformation
• Managing senior client stakeholders and translating insight into action
• Leading project teams and ensuring high‑quality delivery
• Supporting business development and growth

• Has a strong background in strategic sourcing / procurement
• Has delivered end‑to‑end programmes with tangible outcomes
• Is comfortable being hands‑on while leading teams and projects
• Brings strong commercial acumen and stakeholder confidence
• Has experience in consulting or a similar delivery‑focused environment
• Is proactive, self‑sufficient, and low‑touch in how they operate
• Has exposure to supply chain, contracting, or operational improvement (beneficial)
• Has awareness of digital / AI in procurement (nice to have)
