The Contracts Manager is responsible for delivering site based works and ensuring that these works are completed to a satisfactory quality and profitable standard in line with those defined BELFOR UK Ltd operational procedures and techniques. This includes a strong focus on achieving profit targets controlling estimates, sales values and direct costs across Residential and SME projects.
Requirements for Role- Deliver quality end to end projects projects with the trades team and restoration technicians
- Plan project delivery in line with the scope of works utilising scoping tools
- Manage the resources efficiently and effectively in order to meet profit and productivity targets.
- Prepare all relevant paperwork, including, on- site documents, to the pre-agreed company standard
- Liaise with the loss adjusters and insurers and customers to maintain excellent communication throughout project delivery.
- Ensure good lines of communication between trades and technicians
- Ensure that Quality, Management, and Health & Safety procedures are both understood and fully implemented. Advising insured’s, where applicable, of the operation and safety of all plant and equipment including the provision of safety data sheets when necessary.
- QM respond and action any audit action with both the operative and the QM and H&S department.
- Ensure responsibilities specific to your role as detailed within BKH L006 Health Safety and Environment Policy are complied with
- Travel anywhere in the UK to deliver projects
- Plan and deliver monthly tool box talks for your team.
- ensure sufficient material stock is kept locally at the branch.
- Arrange delivery of materials to each site to complete projects
- Attend training courses when provided by BELFOR UK or any other external provider.
- Deliver training program to BELFOR UK employees.
- Identify and deliver initiatives to improve the end to end offering of BELFOR UK.
- Understand and implement the use of new procedures and materials.
- Manage projects on site efficiently and cost effectively.
- Staff development plan to satisfy the employee’s career path
- Any other reasonable Management Request
