Compliance Monitoring Lead

Compliance Monitoring Lead Lloyd's Market - Commercial Division Newly created senior opportunity to take ownership of the Compliance Monitoring function within a leading Lloyd's business. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will have genuine ownership of the monitoring framework, methodology and annual monitoring plan, shaping how the function operates and evolves. This is a hands-on, influential role for someone who can operate confidently at senior level, engage and challenge business leaders, and turn regulatory requirements and emerging risks into effective monitoring and assurance.

Key responsibilities
* Own and develop the Compliance Monitoring Framework, methodology and annual plan.
* Deliver risk-based monitoring, thematic reviews, deep dives and control testing.
* Identify control weaknesses, trends and emerging risks and drive remediation.
* Produce clear, impactful reporting for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
* Work closely with first-line business leaders, providing constructive challenge while maintaining second-line independence. About you
* Lloyd's / London Market compliance experience is essential.
* Proven experience designing or developing compliance monitoring frameworks and methodologies.
* Confident operating with senior business stakeholders and challenging constructively.
* Strong understanding of FCA, PRA and Lloyd's regulatory requirements.
* Experience across insurance/reinsurance;
Bermuda and/or Reinsurance experience would be advantageous.
